Hey readers! We are the Collamati’s. We are a family of 5 living in Maine USA working towards a self sufficient homesteading lifestyle. My name is Jessica and I mainly write the posts on our blog to keep you guys informed of what is going on at our little farm along with some cooking tips, product reviews, and more.
Robert is my husband and the main bread winner of the family while I stay at home tending to the land and our children. We are a homeschooling family as well so the kids are always around learning and growing before our very eyes. We also have our two free loaders as we like to call them Sasha and Roofus. They are English mastiffs and pretty much keep the couches warm throughout the day. Our other animals are our producers. Currently we have chickens, ducks, and goats but plan to add on once we buy our larger piece of property.
Our homesteading goals are to one day be completely self sufficient and utilizing our land for all of our needs. Currently we live on a smaller 1.4 acre property but we are saving and working towards buying a large piece of land we can build an off grid home on.
